Last week at Arts and Pedagogics Department took place International Scientific and Practical Conference “Theoretical and Methodological Aspects of Arts Education: Achievements, Problems and Perspectives”.
The conference organizers were Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, (Arts and Pedagogics Department, Scientific Laboratory of Pedagogical Competency), Pedagogical Education and Adult Education Institute of Ukrainian NAPS (Pedagogical Ethics and Aesthetics Department), Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University (Institute of Arts), A.S. Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University (Arts Department).
In the conference participated scientists from all over Ukraine (Uman, Kyiv, Poltava, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kherson, Kaniv, Zhytomyr, Slovyansk, Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky, Kremenets, Izmail, Dnipropetrovsk, Shevchenkove) and foreigners from Poland, Armenia, `Kazakhstan, Serbia and Uzbekistan.
The welcoming speech was made at plenary meeting by pro-rector of scientific and pedagogical work at USPU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Tetyana Kochubey.
Director of Child Developmet Institute, dean of Arts and Pedagogics Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Assistant Professor Olena Dudnyk congratulated everybody present on the beginning of conference work.
The musical greeting “Pearl of Ukraine” for the guests was presented by Arts and Pedagogics Department vocal ensemble “Necklace (Namysto)” (art director – senior teacher of Musicology, Vocal and Chorus Disciplines Chair Lyudmyla Yatlo).
The urgent problems of arts education was the main theme of discussions at plenary meeting. In particular, problems of arts education efficiency and aesthetic development were revealed by Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, head of Design Chair at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Professor Yuriy Afanasev.
The problem of stage direction of pedagogical arts operational complex functioning was explained by postgraduate student of Ukrainian NAPS Pedagogical Education and Education of Adults Institute, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Assistant Professor Viktor Mozgovy.
Ways of young arts teachers’ problem solving discussion stimulated honoured worker of Ukraine, O.Zakharchenko prize winner, holder of III level “Princess Olga Order”, director of Shevchenko specialized general education boarding school with deepen study of humanitarian and aesthetic subjects in Cherkasy region Lina Tereshchenko.
Philosophical principles of choreographic and pedagogical education were defined by lecturer of Arts Pedagogy and Choreography Chair at Anton Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University Yulia Yefimenko.
Arts synthesis at student theatre rules of using were developed by honoured worker of culture of Ukraine, head of Culture Sciences Chair at Kherson State University (Arts and Culture Sciences Department), Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Assistant Professor Lidiya Lymarenko.
During the day at the entrance hall of building 3 took place the exposition “Arts Opening Day” of Arts and Pedagogics Department students’ and teachers’ works.
The work of the conference was not limited only by scientific research grounding. The work was continued by teachers of Arts and Pedagogics Department master classes conducting, which confirmed success in scientific works realization.
Master class in oil painting was conducted by teacher of Descriptive Arts Chair Yuriy Kovalenko.
Master class in pysanka arts was conducted by teachers of Descriptive Arts Chair Olena Semenova and Yaroslav Serdyuk.
Master class in bayan performance was conducted by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, head of Instrumental Performance Chair Olena Ustymenko-Kosorich. Besides, she demonstrated her own approach to professional training of students-bayanists. As the result of her demonstration musical works of arts were presented by students of speciality “Musical Arts”.
