On October 30-31 there was held on basis of our university International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Main Directions of Contemporary Teacher Training: Globalization, Standardization, and Integration”. The organizers of the conference were Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, Yann Amos Komensky Leshno High Professional Education School (Poland) and T. Niyazi Scientific Institute of Pedagogical Sciences (Uzbekistan).

In the conference participated at about 200 scientists, among them representatives of Poland, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Bilorussia and 19 regions of Ukraine.

The scientific event was open by pro-rector of scientific and pedagogical work at USPU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Tetyana Kochubey. She began with greeting on behalf of rector of USPU, professor Nataliya Pobirchenko and rector of Yann Amos Komensky Leshno High Professional Education School, professor Matsey Petshak, who wished the participators productive work for Ukrainian good.

It was a pleasure that our colleagues from Yann Amos Komensky Leshno High Professional Education School recorded video with greetings for conference participators. Honourable professor of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, pro-rector of scientific work of Yann Amos Komensky Leshno High Professional Education School (Poland), Doctor Habilitation, Professor Aleksander Mykolaychak.

The urgent problem of contemporary teacher training was the main theme of discussions at plenary meeting. In particular, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor at Anton Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University Galyna Nikolayi presented the report on integration tendencies in teacher training of arts.

Pro-rector of scientific and pedagogical work at USPU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Tetyana Kochubey defined contemporary approaches in teacher training.

The international aspect in contemporary teacher training was developed by pro-rector of international activities at USPU, director of Comparative Pedagogy Laboratory, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Assistant Professor of Foreign Languages Chair Oksana Zabolotna. She presented materials of British Council and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine project “School Teacher of New Generation”, which promotes to content modernization of future English teacher training in Ukraine.

The report of Candidate of Pedagigical Sciences, Assistant Professor of General Pedagogics, Pedagogics of High School and Administration Chair (USPU) Olena Kirdan was centred round higher education and labour market in Ukraine.

The peculiarities of primary education teacher preparation to distance education technologies utilization were defined by Oleksiy Mukoviz, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Theory of Primary Education Chair assistant professor, head of Yann Amos Komensky Laboratory of Didactics at USPU.

Worth mentioning was also the history of pedagogical ideas. In her report Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Assistant Professor of Pre-school Pedagogy and Psychology Chair Valentyna Kushnir defined “The variety of secondary educational establishments as means of learning profilization in Russian Empire during second half of the XIX – beginning of the XX c.”

During the plenary meeting in the hall of building 3 was held an exposition of books by teachers and lecturers of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

After the plenary meeting the conference participators had a chance to watch the concert programme of Arts and Pedagogics Department students and teachers.

It’s obvious that such events which are based on dialogue and discussion principles promote to common teacher training of young generation problem solving.
