On the 18th of June in Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University headmasters and methodologists of Uman preschool institutions were awarded certificates showing their successful mastering 54-classes course "Modern information technology in preschool education."

Courses were organized by Informatics and ICT Chair in order to teach preschool institutions staff to master information and communication technologies. 15 headmasters and 6 methodologists of Uman preschool institutions completed the training successfully. The certificates were given by the rector of the University, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, corresponding member of the Ukrainin National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, Natalia S. Pobirchenko. She welcomed preschool teachers and expressed the hope that close cooperation between schools and pedagogical university would promote specialists’ professional development and new forms and methods application in the educational process.

Head of Uman Education Department Oksana V. Gerasymenko thanked the administration of the University and the university teachers for courses organizing and improving computer literacy of Uman preschool teachers. This will help to make the education process in kindergartens mobile, strictly differentiated and individual.
