The world ranking of the universities Webometrics has been published in January 2016. It contains 292 Ukrainian HEI.

It is known that Webometrics ranking of world’s universities is one of famous and the most competent rankings in international education space.

Results of Webometrics investigations are published twice a year (in June-July and in January-February) and comprise 24 thousand universities all over the world. The ranking has been compiled since 2004 and is one of the biggest European scientific establishments – National Research Council in Spain.

The ranking evaluates: availability in the Internet, publications influence on world progress, completeness and “popularity” of web-resources of HEI, confidence of the Internet-users to web-resources of HEI. Top Ukrainian HEI is headed by Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.

In the new ranking of Webometrics Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University takes the 30th place among Ukrainian HEI and the 4880th among the universities around the world.
