Recently, Bashkir State University (Russian Federation) was holding the International Competition of decorative and applied arts, which was attended by 146 participants from many countries including the Czech Republic, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine.

Vitaliy Potapkin, the teacher from the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Technologies at our University was the first in the "Woodcarving" category.

And Natalia Dubova, the Associate Professor of the same Department was the third in the category of “Embroidery".
