April 1 the Municipal House of Culture held a final large-scale Imaginative and quick witted game, "USPU Rector Cup 2014."

5 teams of different departments were competing - “Karkade” (Sociology and Psychology Department and Physical Training Department), “Z-economy-ili” (Economics Department), “Ist Fak” (History Department), “Tykhishe para” (Physics and Mathematics Department) and “Bidna Nastya” (Economics Department and Technology and Pedagogics Department).

It was a traditional competitive program – the introduction, the warm up and the video competition. The progress of the teams was evident, they have "grown up" during the last year and their jokes have become smarter and sharper. This year's participants impressed everyone with brightness and originality. The ballet dancer from the Economics Department was just lovely!

The video contest was also full of surprises, and quite unpredictable ones. The audience could estimate the acting talents of Rector Natalia Pobirchenko and Chairman of the Trade Union Oleksandr Osadchiy who were included into the teams of Sociology and Psychology Department and History Department.

The crowded auditorium of the Municipal House of Culture exploded with bright emotions time and again. Indeed, we need such fun experiences and witty jokes in life. The students could see the world in quite a different way and find a lot of anecdotal and curious. They presented the thematic material in comic images.

So the results of the competition were the following: the IV place was won by the “Tykhishe para”, the III place was awarded to “Karkade”, the II place was shared between a “Z-economy-ili” and “Ist_Fak”, and the I place was given to the young team of “Bidna Nastya” that was this year's winner of USPU Rector Cup.

Awarding the teams was also a spectacular performance for the fans and audience each of which had his or her own favorite team supported with bright posters and loud applause. Natalia Pobirchenko, USPU Rector, Professor congratulated all the participants on their success, thanked them for brightening up everyone’s mood and awarded the winners with the main prize. Oleksandr Osadchiy, the Head of the Trade Union, also joined the fun event.

Congratulations to the teams on excellent performance and wishes of further inspiration in work!
