On 15th of April in Uman palace of culture was held II Uman Youth Festival of Social and Psychological Drama “Listen! See!”. It was dedicated to World Day of Health and Psychologists’ World Day. The festival was initiated and organized by Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, in particular, Student Social and Psychological Service of Social and Psychological Education Department, laboratory “Clinics Friendly to Youth” of Uman Child Hospital.

The event had been open by deputy mayor of the city Lyudmyla Kyrylyuk, who welcomed the participants and thanked organizers for their active attitude to life and public position.

The theme of the second youth festival was “Lies in our life”, which had been chosen with the aim of revealing the importance of independent choice of truthful way of life for the youth.

The festival was organized on the purpose of preventing social problems. The ways of these problems solutions showed pupils and students in original manner. The characters of the performance – USPU volunteers of Student Social and Psychological Service – in fairy tale mode showed how people accept themselves, in the world of distorted mirrors; reveal themselves, realizing faults of the others.

Except of our university representatives, in the festival participated groups of general education schools of I-III grades and higher educational institutions, in particular, educational complex “Yu. O. Gagarin general education boarding school of I-II grades – pedagogical lyceum”, Uman educational complex №24, T. Shevchenko Uman humanitarian and pedagogical college, general education school of I-III grades №14, educational complex “General educational school №6 – preschool educational establishment”, Porfyriy Demutskyi Uman regional music school.

Youth’s performance touched upon important problems of personality development, right for your own choice, influence of violence and resistance, self-appraisal, struggle for happy and valuable life. The eternal moral values of love friendship, family happiness, sense of life, the essence of treason, hatred, hostility were revealed by festival’s participators in songs, theatre psychological miniatures, theatre of shades, choreographical compositions.

In the end of the festival the creative groups were rewarded by diplomas.
