According to the order of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University held the second stage of All-Ukrainian student competition in the specialty "Technological Education" at Professional and Technological Education Department. It was held with the participation of 19 students from leading universities of Ukraine, and 7 higher educational institutions of I-II levels of accreditation.

The competition was followed by the exhibition of creative achievements of lecturers and students of leading universities of Ukraine, which was attended by the representatives of USTU administration headed by the rector, Professor Oleksandr Bezliudnyi.

The participants had been greeted by Vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation in USPU Professor Vladylena Sokyrska, chairman of All-Ukrainian Association of Scientific and Technological Education Practitioners, head of Pedagogy and Education Management Chair Professor Oleksandr Kobernyk (USPU) and chairman of the jury - Doctor of Education, Professor, Head of Production Bases and Design Chair of Technology and Design Department of Poltava National V.G. Korolenko Pedagogical University Yevgen Kulyk.

Dean of Professional and Technological Education Department of USPU Professor Stanislav Tkachuk informed about the program of the competition.

The competition participants in "Technological Education" specialty had been proposed the tasks based on achievements in the educational field "Technology", their solutions required not only knowledge of programmatic educational material, but also the support of general scientific and professional practical training of future teachers of labor Education and technology.

In order to identify the level of professional competence of future teachers of labor studies and technology the program of All-Ukrainian competition included the following stages: presentation of the achievements of the department; the development of a plan of the lessons; creative projects defence; testing in professionally-oriented courses; fragments of lessons conducting.

The jury chairman Yevgen Kulyk and deputy chairman of the Association of Scientific and Technological Education Practitioners, Doctor of Sciences Sergiy Yashchuk awarded diplomas and monetary awards to winners, and certificates to the participants.

It is pleasant to note that this year winners are the fourth year student of "Perejaslav-Khmelnytsky State Pedagogical University" Tayisa Linkevych and fourth year student of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Solomiya Kostiv.
