“European Education” center has published the 10th ranking “Top-200 Ukraine”, which is the first accredited by International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) academic ranking in Ukraine. The project’s particular feature is an attempt to compare universities of different types according to the universal system of criteria.

The organization committee of the National academic ranking “Top-200 Ukraine” on support of international expert council ranking additionally added new criteria in assessment – “Innovation activities of the universities”. These criteria were measured by a number of investments, made by private high technology business into start-up capitals of the universities. The start-ups included both introduction of new technologies and projects in different spheres of activities (biology, medicine, agrarian and humanitarian spheres, etc).

Among the ranking’s leaders are famous HEI, having long history and known in the world: National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, V. N. Kazin National University, National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, National University “Lviv Polytechnics”.

Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University takes 135 place in the ranking table “Top-200 Ukraine”, having improved its results for 4 point in compare to data of the previous year.

According to the data of the ranking, top 10 pedagogical universities of Ukraine include:
• M. P. Drahomanov National Pedagogical University (18th place in ranking);
• K. D. Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University (50th place);
• Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogy Academy (63rd place);
• H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University (96th place);
• Volodymyr Hnatyuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University (101st place);
• Volodymyr Vynnychenko Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University (122nd place);
• Hryhoriy Skovoroda Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskiy State Pedagogical University (123rd place);
• Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University (135th place);
• Berdiansk State Pedagogical University (149th place);
• T. H. Shevchenko Chernihiv National Pedagogical University (158th place).
