The Department of Primary Education of the Institute of Child Development at USPU met with the alumni of Korsun-Shevchenko Pedagogical College named after T.G. Shevchenko. The guests had the opportunity to become acquainted with the teaching staff and management of our University, learning and living conditions at the University and technical facilities.

Guests had the opportunity to talk to Natalia Pobirchenko, the Rector of the University, Tetiana Kochubej, the Vice-Rector on scientific and pedagogical work, and Head of Department of Elementary Education. Larysa Tkachuk, the Vice-Rector told the prospective students about the priorities of the University and its successful integration into the system of European higher education. Svitlana Cymbal-Slatvinska, the Head of the career development and guidance explained the specifics of admissions of the school year 2013-2014.

Borys Yakymchuk, the Department Dean congratulated the future students. He emphasized that the students have all the necessary technical equipment and facilities at their disposal: a powerful technical base, classrooms and labs, computer labs, a modern Library with wireless Internet; most comfortable accommodation in hostels. Olga Burkovetska, the Department Dean told everyone much interesting about the diverse student life.

In addition, during the tour around the University grounds the guests were shown the main areas of the research of the laboratories and teaching rooms. The meeting was concluded with the excursion to the National “Sofiyivsky” Park - the decoration of the city.
