First impressions and achievements are the most important for students. There was successfully held the first examination period for future restaurateurs. Students, who study in specialty “Hotel and Restaurant Work”, were satisfied with the results of their studies at the university.

Yulia Dzvonyska, 16 group student, informs:

- I am a first year student at Department of Economics of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University and I study restaurant business. It is very interesting to study, each of the subjects gives the knowledge, necessary for the future job and reveals its advantages and opportunities. At first it was a little bit difficult, but at lectures, seminars and practical lessons, lecturers were very kind to us and helped us to cope with the first semester”.

Except lessons, students had excursions over hotels and restaurants of Uman; they learned the way of having rest and organizing recreation for others. The lecturers organized the excursion, dedicated to the International Tourism Day. An interesting was meeting of future restaurateurs, organized to Health Day. Together with the other first year students they presented their points of view on the chosen specialty and were honoured in nomination “Fairy Action”. They also visited International exposition forum of restaurant and hotel business and cleaning 2014 FoReCH.

All the above mentioned testifies to the fact that the choice of the university is very important for your future profession. So, let the further studies be rich in content, interesting and various!
