Good deeds cost more than a dozen of knowledge

G. Herbert

On the eve of Easter Holidays active students, who study at Economic and Business Education Institute, under the guidance of deputy director in educative work Natalia Kohan and head of Student Government Viktoria Kutashchuk have organized a charity action “Fair of Goodness”.

The future specialists in economics were responsible in conducting the action. Dressed in embroidered blouse, they admitted lecturers our university workers and students. The visitors had a chance to buy handmade goods, different delicious meals, sweets and national dishes. The fair had national colouring owing to Ukrainian national costumes, embroidered blouses, earthenware crockery, and compositions of cereals, flowers and herbs. The warm atmosphere of hospitality was supplemented by poems, tchastivkas, tongue twisters and smiles.

It is worth mentioning that the Institute has been organizing similar culinary actions for some years. The costs from such actions are directed to charity.

This year “Fair of Goodness” pursued a charitable aim: students collected money for Anastasia Berestenko. Anastasia is fighting against disease – Burkitt's lymphoma relapse. Those, who participated in the charity fair made a contribution to an important matter – they helped a person, who needs medical care. As a famous politician Benjamin Franklin said once, “It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation, and only one bad one to lose it”.

The workers of Economic and Business Education Institute expressed their gratitude to students, the university lecturers, guests and visitors, who participated in the charity action. The fair organizers were awarded by diplomas and presents.
