Scientific Laboratory “Cherkasy region ethnology” at Ukrainian Philology Department welcomed first year students in speciality “Ukrainian Ethnography” and admitted them to Folklore Scientific Society named after Khrysanph Yashchurzhynsky.

In the action took part members (university teachers) of Scientific Laboratory “Cherkasy region ethnology”. Owing to them scientific work and expedition Ukrainian Ethnography work is carried out.

First year students received Society’s member certification and promised to be worthy of Ukrainian citizen title, become real expertsof the XXI c. in Ukrainian ethnography.

Senior research worker of Scientific Laboratory “Cherkasy region ethnology”, PhD in Pedagogics, assistant professor Inna Tereshko, honoured cultural worker of Ukraine, associate professor Vasyl Semenchuk, national amateur folklore group “Sofia” congratulated students on admittion to Folklore Scientific Society named after Khrysanph Yashchurzhynsky.

As far as Folklore Scientific Society named after Khrysanph Yashchurzhynsky is a collaboration of students, lecturers, young scientific workers and prominent scientists in studies on Ukraine, we hope that first year students skills, talents, and their patriotism will be pledge of success.
