In Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University the fifth all-ukrainian scientific-practical conference with international participation "PROSOCIAL PERSONALITY IN THE GENDER DIMENSION: THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGY AND APPLIED ASPECTS" was held.

The conference was co-organized by the Institute of Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the National Council of Women of Ukraine, “Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy” of Kharkiv Regional Council, Rivne State University for the Humanities, Taras Shevchenko “Chernihiv Collegium” National University.

Scientific issues of the conference: 1. Gender education as a social, psychological and pedagogical problem. 2. Innovative forms of work of educators and specialists in the socio-psychological sphere in wartime. 3. Inclusive education of young men and women in the digital educational space. 4. Prosocial personality in the conditions of European integration progress of Ukraine. 5. Volunteer movement: history, present, prospects for development. 6. Initiative of women's organizations of the world in the realities of the XXI century: research and prospects

Volodymyr Mykolaiko, PhD, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University made a welcoming speech.

Moderators of the event: Oksana Kravchenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University and Tetiana Tarasova, PhD, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.

In total, more than 100 participants took part in the conference, including 22 students.

Issues on gender issues in the context of socialization of the individual were discussed during the conference; socio-psychological support for women in conditions of war, which causes the highest form of violence against humanity; integration of the feminist perspective into the training of future specialists; the role of public organizations in protecting the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian women; social work with vulnerable categories of citizens at the community level in conditions of war (gender approach); intergenerational and gender aspects of digitalization processes in all spheres of public life, etc.

The conference inspired participants to further research and practice-oriented initiatives!
