Recently, Student council has held The Favourite Book Fair. This action was organized to support the family of Anastasia Ryzhack, a student of Foreign Languages Department. Her brother has died in the ATO area, her father is still at war, defending the honour of Ukraine, her mother works as a volunteer. It hurts us when we hear in the news about the amount of wounded and killed, and we understand that this misfortune can appear in our family. In this historical period, we shouldn’t be indifferent to the surrounding world, to our country, family and relatives.

Students, lecturers and workers of the university library took part in this affair. Each person could buy the book he likes at the book fair and he had also the possibility to bring with him his own book for selling.

The book fair offered fiction books, child literature, scientific reference books, culinary books which were not expensive. In the charitable action participated students, lecturers, deans of departments, and rector of the university, professor Nataliya Pobirchenko. It was pleasant that the charitable action didn’t leave anybody indifferent. People bought books in a short time and the amount of money from the selling was about 2500 hryvnias. Those who bought a book realized that they somehow helped Anastasia. We are grateful to everybody who participated in this noble affair!
