The other day students of our university demonstrated their talents. Student Council (head – Yevhenia Boroday) organized a festival “Student’s spring”. It has become a tradition to conduct such a festival as almost for 20 years the USPU youth demonstrates that it has a lot of talents.

In the festival participated students from 11 departments and 1 institute; they were glad to participate and demonstrate their talents and creative potential.

Lecturers and students, present at the festival, had an opportunity to feel the festive and artistic atmosphere, filled up with melodies of spring songs and colours of youthful beauty.

The concert program has begun with “Vesnianka” (Ukrainian folk song), performed by a student of Ukrainian Philology Department Yulia Kostiuk. The topic of spring, tenderness and love was prolonged by the following students – Tetyana Badiaka (a song “Love is Gold”) and Valeria Saliy (a song “Spring Girl”). Serhiy Frizz and Iryna Yurash sang English and Russian songs. The patriotic performance was made by members of the ensemble “Clio” Aliona Mahruk and Natalia Kaminska, who performed a song “The Language unites us”.

Choreography talents are also worth mentioning. Members of the national ensemble of contemporary dance “Vizavi” (art director – Lyudmyla Androschuk) presented the audience the following emotional compositions: “Such as You are” and “The Last Day”. An energetic dance “Tango”, performed by Inna Kryvoruchko and Oleksandra Kahal, added the festival Argentinean flame and passion. Students of Foreign Languages Department – members of choreography band under the guidance of Anastasia Kryvorotenko – demonstrated the audience “Irish Dance” and Anzhelika Velychko “Eastern Dance”.

The genre “reading poems” her talent demonstrated Yulia Osadchuk. Performed by the student, a philosophic poem by a famous Ukrainian writer Lina Kostenko “By the way” made the audience to think over eternal categories.

In the festival “Student’s spring” took active part foreign students. The audience greeted with applause the vocalists “Dzuma Dzumaev and Vepa Dzuraev, “Break Dance” by a group “Mix Style” (stage director – Yahshyheldiev Mahtym) and Turkmen dance “Blizik” (translated as “Bracelets”, art diector – Mukhyev Mahsad).

A storm of applause was addressed to a student theatre of variety miniatures “Mirror” (art director – Natalia Alekseeva). A funny miniature “How Cossacks…” caused laughter in the audience, as the theatre-goers impressed by their incredible talent to play “real Cossacks”.

The festival “Student’s spring” displayed a lot of talents under different nominations. They included: vocal arts, theatre, choreography, reading a poem. The event has become “fairy scene of talents and creative works”.

In the end of the festival its stage director Natalia Alekseeva and head of the University Student Council Yevhenia Boroday wished USPU talented students further success in educational, scientific and creative spheres of activity. The most active students and members of the Student Council were awarded by certificates, diplomas and presents.
