Extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Ukraine Nurberdy Amanmuradov had a working visit to USPU. Important issues of further development of cooperation in the field of education were discussed during the meeting with the university administration - rector Oleksandr Bezliudnyi, Vice-Rector Andriy Gedzyk and ViceRector for Research and International Cooperation Vladylena Sokyrska.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the university administration for creating favorable conditions for education and full development of his compatriots - boys and girls who get higher education in Uman Pedagogical University.

Recently opened the Ukrainian-Turkmen center in USPU beneficially influence the improvement of the quality training. It became a prominent developing educational, cultural and recreational division. Director of the Center - PhD in Geography, Associate Professor Oleksandr Lavryk made a tour of the University. In turn, the ambassador presented valuable books for the center to expand world outlook and deepen students' knowledge.

Ambassador met and talked with the students, stressing that their main task is a qualitative study, because their homeland is waiting for the well-trained professionals.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan Nurberdy Amanmuradov had also very important mission. As you know, on February 12, 2017 Turkmenistan held elections of the President and in accordance with generally accepted standards and the Electoral Code of the country, citizens who are abroad have also an opportunity to vote. Therefore, the Embassy of Turkmenistan asked the rector Oleksandr Bezliudnyi to organize polling place where students of Uman Universities could make their choice.

In accordance with the requirements this place was arranged with cabin for secret voting and the ballot box. More than 250 students from Turkmenistan studying in Uman State Pedagogical University and 13 students from the National University of Horticulture were able to make an informed choice. The voting process took place in a calm business-like atmosphere, without any breaches.
