The Sociology and Psychology Department organized a new contest for the smarties - the "Erudite" quiz in which the brightest students could show their knowledge.

The jury consisting of Dmytro Pashchenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Chair of General Pedagogics, Pedagogics of Higher Educational Establishments and Management, Iryna Albul, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, acting Head of the Chair of Social Pedagogy, Social Work and History of Pedagogy and Tetiana Filatova, the teacher of the Chair of Psychology, evaluated the contest and chose the winning team. There were 3 teams each of which had 6 participants. The heads of the teams (students of the Sociology and Psychology Department Mykola Grigoriev, Veronika Smitanka and Victoria Tishchenko) had to prepare their teams for the game and they perfectly coped with this difficult task. Maria Krayeva, the hostess of the show (student of the Sociology and Psychology Department) suggested the tasks that enabled the contestants to show much intelligence and outstanding awareness in the field of psychological and pedagogical sciences. The presentations of the teams and the team head contests were exciting. The homework consisted of 2 parts: the question in the form of a multimedia presentation and staging on the theme: "Ways of resolving the conflicts." The "black box questions", anagrams and video questions were used. Pedagogical situations with multiple choice options and questions without option choices were implemented. The also contestants dealt with the tasks in the envelopes, the "What is unnecessary? " and "What next?" tasks.

Mykola Grigoriev’s team was the winner. The honorable second place was awarded to the team headed by Veronika Smitanka, the honorable third place was won by the team of Viktoria Tishchenko. In general, all teams showed brilliant knowledge they had gained during the classes in our home university. They proved they could work in team which was only possible due to the long preparation for the game under the guidance of the heads of the teams.

Oksana Kravchenko, the Dean of the Department, provided help and guidance in the organization of the contest. She always supports the student initiatives and promotes their implementation in practice.
