Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine (EMU) is the first all-Ukrainian encyclopedia, which analyzes image of Ukraine of the XX - beginning of XXI cc.

EMU is the first among issues of encyclopedia type, which contains articles about scientists, artists, actors, sportsmen, writers, politicians, public figures and statesmen. Authors of EMU include a large amount of concealed or forgotten because of ideological principles authors of Ukraine, defines more accurately biographical facts.

A great part of articles is dedicated to scientific notions and directions.

The encyclopedia includes a lot of maps, tables and the other pictures. Almost each article has literature (bibliography).
