Science is best understood if combined with practice when theoretical knowledge is explained in a game. And the more complicated the chosen specialty is the more useful such techniques and the more positive outcome of training is.

The Economics Department was holding the week of games in "Finance", "Enterprise Economics", "Accounting" that began with an exhibition of "Our specialty and the way we learn it" wall paper and the business game in Accounting during which the students demonstrated the ability of analytical thinking, simulating real situations and performing accounting.

To combine the pleasant and the interesting was the aim of "the end justifies the means" quest and "formula of its own success" cinemalogy. Since the quest is a purposeful journey that implies overcoming the obstacles the students traveled along the territory of the Economics Department performing a variety of tasks: economic window dressing, dominoes, puzzles and quests.

The first-year students studying "Finance and Credit", "Enterprise Economics", "Accounting" were creating their own formula of success as part of the project watching the short video on the ways of achieving success by the famous people.

The second and third year students were participating in the role "Education is the step towards success" game which tested their knowledge of economic disciplines. On completion of the game the team was awarded the certificates allowing them the right to receive bonus points in such subjects as "Regional Economics", " Economics and History of Economic Ideas" and "Enterprise Economics".

On the occasion of the solemn inauguration of the freshmen in "Enterprise Economics", "Finance and Credit", "Accounting and Auditing" the "Studies. Career. Success" scientific - methodical seminar was held with participation of Mykhailo Shabash, the Deputy Director of Uman District Employment Office, Igor Halahur, the Director of the Regional Center of "TAS" Uman Insurance Group, Vitaly Medvedchuk, the Director of "Trust" private enterprise.

Tetyana Komar, the Dean of Economics Department, PhD, Associate Professor and Anatoliy Muzychenko, the Head of the Chair of Enterprise Economics, Finance, Accounting and Auditing, Doctor of Economics, Professor handed the first year students the badges with the emblem of the Department with the famous saying by Robert Kiyosaki, "If you want to be rich you need to be financially literate!".

The "Iron entrepreneur" economic game (which gave the students an opportunity to try themselves as entrepreneurs without any risk) became the culmination of the celebration of the Week of specialties and "Our specialty and the way we learn it" wall paper summed up the competition.

During the week of economic games the students had an opportunity to show themselves as business people, try creative approaches to solving the problems, and develop communication skills and abilities to select the spheres of activity. Also, the young people increased their interest to the economic subjects, improved the ability to stand their ground, and expanded their professional interests and preferences. And most importantly - the future professionals developed awareness of their responsibility to work in a team.

All the participants of the games were active; they made a significant contribution into the joint work and gained experience and positive emotions!
