Research of ecological problems of tourist and recreational services of the population is an important direction of activity of Natural Sciences and Geography Department’s and the Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Business Education’s scientists of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

Implementation of ecological methods in the management of tourism enterprises, environmental management requires active interaction with all branches of this industry. Therefore, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the University take an active part in various events to get acquainted with tourist routes, recreational facilities and improvement of recreational zones in the forest massifs.

So, during the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "The role of national natural parks in the development of tourism", which was held on the basis of the National Nature Park "Karmelyuk Podillya", the university scientists exchanged experience on ecological and green tourism with experts from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Department of Agro-Industrial’s development, ecology and natural resources of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, representatives of scientific and educational institutions, and practical environmentalists. During the plenary session, Svitlana Sovgira substantiated the role of national natural parks in the development of united territorial communities, and Vitaliy Stoyka - the role of tourism as a pledge of the territorial community development.

The result of the activity is the signing of an agreement about cooperation between the University and the Karmelyuk Podillya National Nature Park.
