On September 18, a "round table" "The concept of lifelong pedagogical education - the answer to today's challenges" was held in Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

Rector, doctor of sciences (Pedagogics), professor, corresponding member of Ukrainian NAPS Nataliya Pobirchenko – participant of the meeting of the Association of Rectors of pedagogical universities in Europe (February 24, 2012), doctor of sciences (Pedagogics), professor Oksana Timets - member of the working group MES, youth and sports of Ukraine, leading professors, doctors of sciences, vice-rectors, institute directors, deans and their assistants on education work and other interested scholars, educators were invited to participate in the discussion.

Current issues of teachers’ training: a system of teacher education, educational and qualification levels and qualifications, a problem on new filling of teacher education content, the organization of the educational process, postgraduate teacher education, the formation of a contingent of students and their employment were discussed.

As a result of constructive conversation the suggestions as for project’s redaction were proposed and will be transferred to the Ministry.
