The Korsun - Shevchenko Pedagogical College named after T.G. Shevchenko turned 90. Founded in 1923 as Higher Pedagogical Courses of Korsun it passed several stages of development: Teachers College, College, and now - Pedagogical College. In spite of the change of the status of an institution the mission remains the same - to prepare the future teachers of secondary schools in Shevchenko's region and the entire Ukraine.

The delegation of our University headed by Natalia Pobirchenko, the Rector of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, corresponding member of NAPS of Ukraine who headed the Korsun educational establishment in the early 90s congratulated the Korsun - Shevchenko Pedagogical College on the anniversary.

The delegation also included Oleksandr Osadchiy, the Vice-Rector for Social Affairs, Head of the Trade Union, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, Oleksandr Kobernik -Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Technology, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Stanislav Tkachuk, the Dean of the Technology and Pedagogics Department, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor.

Congratulating the staff of Korsun-Shevchenko Pedagogical College on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the foundation, Natalia Semenivna, the Rector of USPU noted that the highly professional pedagogical team is always generous for kindness and sincerity for many thousands of teachers and educators promoting the experience of the best teachers, fostering love of life and creativity. "I am pleased to realize that you are always open to dialogue in cooperation with our University. We appreciate the cooperation in business, our mutual benefit and look forward to the implementation of joint projects and creative ideas", she said.

According to the good tradition, the heroes of the day received nice gifts from the University – a «Canon» camera and "Snowstorm" choreography song by "Visavi" Modern Dance amateur folk ensemble (directed by Lyudmila Androschuk).
