Many years Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University has supported partnerships with foreign educational institutions. At the beginning of the new academic year the delegation from our partner institution - Jan Amos Komeński State School of Higher Vocational Education (Leszno, Poland) visited USPU. Rector of Polish university Professor, Doctor of Sciences Maciej Petrszak greeted our university freshmen and wished them a successful academic year, new achievements and interesting student life.

Administration of Jan Amos Komeński State School of Higher Vocational Education joined the active discussion on the implementation of joint projects and prospects of cooperation between our institutions. Thus, on September 1, Polish colleagues had the opportunity to meet with our students. At the beginning of the event, Vice-Rector for Research Work and International Cooperation Vladylena Sokyrska greeted the present students with the Day of Knowledge, wished them a successful implementation of projects and plans, to realize all the opportunities in professional development. Vladylena Sokyrska also noted that Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University creates for students all conditions for disclosing their scientific and creative potential. During the meeting, Rector of Jan Amos Komeński State School of Higher Vocational Education Professor, Doctor of Sciences Maciej Petrszak and Vice-Rector for Academic Activities and Student Affairs, Doctor of Sciences Janusz Pola informed students about their opportunities to study at Polish universities on the double diploma program. The professors emphasized the benefits of their educational institution, particularly the presence of a strong educational, scientific and practical base, openness to foreign students. USPU graduate student, who now coordinates the cooperation of the Polish university with Eastern European countries Kostiantyn Mazur also mentioned the benefits of studying at Jan Amos Komeński State School of Higher Vocational Education.

During the meeting of USPU Rector, Professor Oleksandr Bezliudnyi with honored guests the issues of expansion of cooperation in educational, scientific and cultural work have been discussed. USPU Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation Vladylena Sokyrska and Head of the Polish Cultural and Educational Center, Professor Igor Kryvosheia participated in the meeting.

We hope for the effective implementation of the planned ideas, which will enable our universities to reach a new level of cooperation.
