On the 20th of June there was an on-site meeting of the State Examining Board of the Economics Department in Uman Regional Center of JSC "Insurance Group" TAS “at which the protection of Master’s theses in “Finance and Credit “took place.

Before publication the research results by the undergraduates Kateryna Zamulyanets ("Insurance services and specifics of providing the insurance services in the conditions of market transformation of the economy of Ukraine") and Tetiana Litovkina ("Formation and development of the insurance market in Ukraine") were presented. The State Examination Board has noted that the Master's works reflect the current state of the insurance market, the analysis of economic performance of insurance companies; in particular, the ways of functional improvement of the insurance market and increase the insurance efficiency are suggested.

The value of the research as noted by Igor Halahur, the Director of Uman Regional Center of JSC "Insurance Group" TAS ", is of the relevance and theoretical and practical significance of the results. It was also stressed that certain guidelines and scientific statements of the Master’s thesis by Tetiana Litovkina were used in the Cherkasy Regional Directorate of JSC "Insurance Group" TAS” as it was mentioned in the certificate on the practical implementation of the study.

The advantage of such on-site theses defenses is the stability of teaching the economic specialties in Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, as well as the market demand of the experts in economics.

Thus, the undergraduate practice in Uman regional center of JSC "Insurance Group" TAS“ concluded with a brilliant defense of Master's works.
