There was held an exhibition of decorative works, dedicated to New Year and Christmas holidays and created by students of Primary Education Department and Social and Psychological Education Department. The exhibition took place in the foyer of new building of the university, at everybody and pleased everybody.
The students are sure that decorative study of flora is a very interesting kind of arts and they are good at creation of arts compositions. We can say that it is a unique ability and there is no person who can’t do it. That’s it. To choose a bunch of flowers, put flowers into water could do everybody and such activity belongs to decorative study of flora.
We can hear that Ukrainian copy European people in decorating their houses before New Year and Christmas holidays. It’s not fair: we study foreign experience, but decorative study of flora has its roots in Ukraine. Our ancestors made different compositions from flowers; this art came to us and currently has its revival. For example, makoviychyky – bunches of flowers, dedicated to national holiday of St. Makovey. The most beautiful are winter compositions, dedicated to New Year and Christmas holidays!
In Ukraine is popular a holiday of flowers, during which people made different compositions from flowers.
We should remember that with the help of flowers we can reproduce any shade of person’s mood. Not without reason the motto of American association of studies of flora is chosen: “Say it with the help of flowers!”
Second and forth year students of Pre-school and Correction Education Department, Department of Arts, Primary Education Department and Social and Psychological Education Department have a subject of study of flora. The course is delivered by lecturers at Theory of Primary Education at Primary Education Department Pavlo Diachuk and Lyudmyla Perfilieva.
On the basis of the department functions a circle “Study of Flora”, visited by lecturers of higher educational establishments and school teachers of Uman. As a result of circle members activities, each holiday are organized exhibitions of exhibitions made of natural material.
