On the 27th of March in the cultural life of our university took place unusual event. Our university visited doctor of philological sciences, artist, prosaist, dramatist, poet, member of Russian-speaking Union of Israel Writers, member of a board of Union of Israel Writers, International Association of Writers and Publicists, Professional Artist’s Union, acting member of Israel Independent Academy of Sciences Development, laureate of diploma of International Academy of Sciences, Education, Industry and Arts (the USA, San-Francisco) Galyna Podolska.

The cultural and artistic event with the assistance of Galyna Podolska was initiated by director of Ukrainian-Israel Centre of Education, Science and Culture of Pavlo Tychyna USPU, professor Nataliia Tsymbal. The event was co-organized by Arts and Pedagogics Department (dean – Olena Dudnyck), Fine Arts Chair (head of the chair – Olga Muzyka), creative Union “Art Uman” (director – Sergiy Shandra), Uman Art Gallery (director – Tamara Guy) and city Culture and Tourism Department (head – Tetyana Geyko).

Galyna Genadiyivna gave a lecture for students and lecturers of USPU Arts and Pedagogics, Primary Education and Preschool Education Departments. She told about peculiarities of contemporary Israel fine arts, supplementing her speech by interesting presentations. This meeting was performed in the form of cultural dialogue for defining the essence of World Arts and philosophical sense of life.

Acquaintance with fine arts of Israel was prolongued in Uman Art Gallery, where was organized the exhibition of easel painting by Victor Bryndach under the title “12 Israel generations”. In the artistic event participated deputy head of the mayor of the city Lyudmyla Kyrylyuk, head of Culture and Tourism Department Tetyana Geyko, USPU pro-rector in scientific and pedagogical work Tetyana Kochubei, the other honorary guests, students and city arts admirers. Galyna Podolska and Nataliia Tsymbal expressed their gratitude for organization and presentation a unique arts exhibition.

It is worth mentioning here that Galyna Gennadiyivna was inspirer of V. Bryndach “12 Israel generations” pictures collection, the author was painting it during the last three years. The author emodied in his works a Bible story about descendant of Avraam Yakov, 12 his songs became head of Israel tribes. Victor Bryndach’s works are unique as he combined subjects of Books of the Old Covenant and the story of precious stones, given by father to his sons.

The creative atmosphere of the exhibition was supplemented by poetry “Today’s rarity” and “Artist’s talent” by valentyna Chaikovska – a member of Israel and Ukraine Writer’s Union, dedicated to this meeting in Ukraine. They were recited by a student of USPU Primary Education Department Larysa Sauliak.

Deputy head of mayor of the city Lyudmyla Kyrylyuk gave the guest from Israel a present as a souvenir, head of Culture and Tourism Department Tetyana Geyko rewarded Galyna Podolska by diplomas of gratitude. Galyna, an author and director of artistic project “Ukraine-Israel”, brought to Ukraine Israel painter’s works and gave them as present from Israel people to Ukrainian people.

Galyna Ivanivna delivered certificate, a symbol of gratitude of Ukrainian-Israel Centre of Education, Science and Culture of Pavlo Tychyna USPU in the person of its director Nataliia Tsymbal, for active participation in joint project realization and Israel arts expansion in Uman, a sacred for many Israelits city.

The arts admirers had an opportunity to get acquainted with the collection of artistic works, which were presented to Uman Art Gallery by Israel Professional Artist’s Union. The picture collection (at about 20 works, carried out in different arts techniques) is a wonderful world of pictorial art and graphics, beauty’s philosophy, life wosdom, thoughts on existential problems. Musical accompaniment and presentation added emotionality and perfection to Galyna Podolska’s appearance.
