In order to expand the creative collaboration of Natural Science and Geography Department with specialized schools, representatives of Biology and methods of its teaching chair familiarized with work experience of Ryzyn secondary school of Zvenygorodka district, Cherkasy region, headed by the director of the school Olga V. Fedorchuk. The school is one of the few in Ukraine pays great attention to the training of pupils in the frameworks of school forestry work, established on the basis of forestry SE "Zvenygorodske" LH Forestry “Plekhivske”.

Introduction to the directions of the school forestry

This year a team of young school foresters have participated in the VI All-Ukrainian meeting of pupils’ forestries, held in Ivano-Frankivsk region. The school is proud of the 9th form pupil Volodymyr Boiko, who took the third place in the competition-defense of research works.

Some directions of further cooperation between the school and the department were discussed during the meeting, as well as a plan to solve the problem of proper methodical providing of school course "Forestry".
