The conference of university labour group as a higher collegiate body of public university self-government has been held today. In the work of the conference have participated 197 people, which comprises 98 % of departments’ and other subunits’ elective body.

According to the order of the day conference delegates examined a new reduction of the university regulations and 2015-2016 Collective agreement between USPU administration and labour group.

Work of the conference was productive and constructive. It was owing to university commission creative work of new reduction of the university regulations (head of the commission – pro-rector in scientific and pedagogical work Dmytro Baldynyuk) and 2015-2016 Collective agreement (head of the commission – pro-rector in scientific and pedagogical work Vladylena Sokyrska) making up.

The new reduction of the university regulations presented head of the commission Dmytro Baldynyuk.

The working out of new regulations was necessary after adoption of the new law “On Higher Education”. The new reduction of the university regulations was discussed and submitted at academic council in January. Dmytro Ivanovych told about main principles of the new regulations, paid attention to innovations in the document. The conference delegates unanimously voted for the new reduction of the university regulations and submitted to Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine consideration.

Head of the commission on Collective agreement making up Vladylena Sokyrska made a speech about Collective agreement between USPU administration and labour group. She was speaking about 2014 Collective agreement execution and the main principles of the new Collective agreement. Co-reporter, head of the university trade union committee Oleksandr Osadchyi mentioned that our university Collective agreement is among the best in Cherkasy region according to results of inspection.

The conference delegates unanimously voted for the project of 2015-2016 Collective agreement between USPU administration and labour group. The collective agreement comes into effect from the date of its signing up or the date mentioned in the agreement.
