On September 15, the university scientists together with members of Academy of sciences for young researches have carried out the research of perspective environmental protection objects, including German tract, which may become elements of a regional ecological network in Man’kivka District.

The main forest formations are hornbeam-oak. These formations have two-story structure: the first tier (oak, ash, sometimes maple and sycamore), the second (hornbeam, linden, maple). Difference in height of these layers in aged 50-70 years reaches 3.5 m

In German tract compliance of absolute reserve regime, cessation of care of an artificial origin cubs may lead to further changes in oak and beech, hornbeam and other rocks, which contradicts the fundamental problem of natural object - the preservation and formation of native stands.

Investigated forest has recreation potential especially in the season of summer holiday (hiking, picnicking) and is characterized by its charm and beauty.
