Charitable culinary fair was held on the eve of International Women’s Day at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, which was initiated by Student Council and supported by University Administration. Such events became traditional in our university, as students try to demonstrate their active social position and solidarity in humanist idea of charity. But this charitable culinary fair was special: representatives of the sterner sex treated girls and women to various delicious dishes, wished them peace, female happiness and family well-being.

The delicious action joined students, lecturers, university workers. Each department tried their best to lay the table and propose customers original dishes. Everybody had an opportunity to regale oneselves with patties, pancakes with different stuffing, original sandwiches, kartoplianyky, sweets of both industrial output and home-made.

The costs from culinary production selling the youth is going to deliver through volunteers to soldiers, who protect ou peace and calmness in the East of Ukraine.

The students appeal everybody not to be indifferent to our Motherland’s fate. Let’s support each other in such difficult times for the Ukrainians! Our small contribution should be a part of great goodness and source of happy future of our Ukraine.
