As part of International Scientific Conference "The objectives and results of the educational reforms: Ukrainian-Polish Dialogue" jointly with Borys Grinchenko University held a roundtable devoted to the 5th anniversary of the Polish cultural center in USPU.

The University welcomed the distinguished guests - Professor Stefan Michalski, the Rector of High School of the Union of Polish Teachers, Doctor habilitated in Pedagogics, Leandra Korczak, the Deputy Dean of Pedagogical Department High School of the Union of Polish Teachers, Doctor of Humanities in Pedagogics, Natalia Bednarska, the scientific and didactic employee of the High School of the Union of Polish Teachers, Doctor of Pedagogics, Professor Yeva Ohrodska-Mazur, Silesian University Professor, Vice Dean for Research Department of Ethnology and Education Sciences, Barbara Grabowska, the scientific researcher in the Department of Ethnology and Education of Silesian University, Doctor of Pedagogics.

Guests were greatly impressed by the excursion around the University grounds – the lobby decoration, laboratories, classrooms, sports halls. Students of Ukrainian Philology Department specializing in Polish and Individual Interdisciplinary Studies were excellent guides not only in the university but also in the "Sofiyivka" Historical Park. The conference was concluded with a number of agreements on further scientific cooperation.
