On the initiative of innovative business incubator and financial support of the trade union chairman Oleksandr Osadchyi the business plan competition took place on the basis of Economics Department of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. Its conduction was good tradition for the department and helped talented students to realize personal entrepreneurship initiative.
The works were presented by 16 students of II -V courses of Economics Department and 1 student of Physics and Mathematics Department. Business plans themes had been formed in two directions “Industry”, “Services Sphere”, “Trade” and “Social Project”.
The jury had rewarded the winners with certificates and money prizes.
The first place received a draft business plan on “Discover Uman region in a new way”. It was defended by the sophomore of “Tourism” specialty Bogdan Mazur (scientific supervisor – lecturer of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business Chair Yevgen Pidlisnyi).
The second place was taken by the third year student of “Finances and Credit” specialty Yuliya Vygivska. The theme of her business plan was “Eco-Enterprise “Vtortekstyl” (scientific supervisor – Ph.D. (Economics), associate professor of Economics of Enterprise, Finance, Accounting and Auditing Chair Liudmyla Chvertko).
The third place was won by the second year student of “Tourism” specialty Olga Babiy for business ideas creating “Mini-hotel “Trypilets” in Lehedzyno village” (scientific supervisor – Ph.D. (Economics), associate professor of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business Chair Inna Povoroznyuk) and sophomore of “Marketing” specialty Vladyslav Pulya for the development of the magazine “Discover Uman Better” (scientific supervisor – Ph.D. (Economics), associate professor of Economics Theory and Law Chair Iryna Kyrylyuk.
The remaining students who had participated in the competition were rewarded by diplomas for creativity in developing business plans.
