The team of KVN (the Club for the light-hearted and quick-witted) has been receiving congratulations on its birthday from different parts of Ukraine before the performance at city palace of culture.

The funny show began with guests’ introduction. The fest visited the following teams “Orest Gump” (Rivne), “Lubart Castle” (Lutsk), “Bubble Gum” (Mykolaiv), “Real Currency” (Dnipropetrovsk), “Team of the Youth” (Vinnytsia), “Agrarward” (Kyiv), NUBIP, “Smiles” (Skadovsk) and there were also present teams of our university – “Karkade” and “Kashpirovsky Diagnosis”.

The jury consisted of Igor Kryvosheya, Andriy Oparin, Vitaliy Fernes, Sergiy Chaika, Oleksandr Melnychuk, Vyacheslav Melnyk, among the sponsors were university trade union committee (head Oleksandr Osadchyi), acting Uman mayor Oleksandr Tsebriy, entrepreneur Sergiy Zozulya, sport complex “Mary-Mary”, open-end company “Umanpivo”, pizzeria “Chelentano”, restaurant “Chocolate”, shops “Firework”, “Enter-plus”, djcafe “Iksia”.

After the rules announcement, the wish for “Good Luck” started the game of the light-hearted and quick-witted. Funny jokes were heard during different parts of a game: visiting card, warming-up with the audience, three subscriptions for ten, and visiting card continuation. The teams came to Uman not in vain. It was a real fun! Special interest was called by a hero of an anniversary, which consisted of Roman Didenko, Sergiy Krykun, Vladyslav Sydorenko, Svitlana Khritonova, Sergiy Oliynyk (team sound producer Sergiy Ovsienko). The audience was reminded that the first game of “Ist_Fak” team had been held on the 14th of November 2013, the first rehearsal visited 17 students, 2 of them still play for the team. The next game will be held in Odesa.

The game was marvellous and took place until the late evening, but the audience was nothing but glad. After the points counting, the jury defined winners. The victory got a team from Lutsk ““Lubart Castle”. A prize for warming-up received the team “Real Currency”, a prize for visiting card received “Smiles, and a prize for biathlon – “Kashpirovsky Diagnosis”.

The holiday has come to the end, but we expect new meetings, as KVN brings us optimism and good mood and humour is a feature of the Ukrainians, which helps to overcome problems and plan future.
