Intellectual and entertaining competition “Beauty against Strength” was held at Social and Psychological Department. During 4 competitions 5 pairs of boys and girls were demonstrating their wits, logic, charisma, smartness, talents and the other.

It is worth mentioning that for the first time in such event of our university participated students with special needs. They overcame mental and social barriers, showed their potential and inner strength.

The participants appeared as real patriots in embroidered shirts. The competition consisted of the following stages: “Visit card”, “Machine of Time”, “Exchange of Roles”, “World of my Interests”. The first stage anticipated presentation of videos with visit cards, in which participants demonstrated some interesting and funny moments from their private life.

In the competition “Machine of Time” the competitors demonstrated their images, characteristic for 20-ies, 50-ies, 70-ies, 80-ies and 90-ies years of the last century. In the competition “Exchange of Roles” girls answered boys’ questions and visa versa.

In the final competition – “World of my Interests” the participants demonstrated their many-sided hobbies. The competition came to its end, jury counted the scores and defined winners.

All the participants showed their best. In the nomination “Audience’s favourites” has won Serhiy Kushnir and Anna Khomenko.

Among the girls the winners became: “Grace” – Dana Vodianyuk, “Artistry” – Lyubov Ivanova, “Style” – Tetyana Kazarian, “Talent” – Tetyana Balahuta, “SPED Beauty 2016” – Anna Khomenko. Among the boys have won: “Positiv” – Serhiy Kushnir, “Artistry” – Volodymyr Petryk, “Talent” – Mykola Materniuk, “Style” – Dmytro Stanislavchuk, “SPED Strength 2016” – Yaroslav Polianytskiy.

We congratulate them on their victories and wish them further success.

The event’s organizers are grateful for collaboration to national and amateur ensemble of contemporary dance “Vizavi” (art director – Lyudmyla Androshchuk) and restaurant “Fabricant” for place to make photos.

During the holiday has been held one more important event – it was visited by children from Centre of early social rehabilitation “Prolisok” – sisters Dasha and Masha. The students helped them to “Come their dream true”. Dasha had a dream to perform on stage and Masha wanted to see her sister-princess on the stage. Their dream came true. You should dream and your dream will come true for sure too!
