At Arts and Pedagogics Department of USPU Artist’s Day was celebrated. From early morning in the university vestibule was organized creative students’ work exhibition by Fine Arts Chair.

Our university is proud of works of arts by painters and national masters who enrich not only Uman and Cherkasy region treasury, but also state treasury. Their creative work is a part of national culture, source of spiritual development and aesthetic needs of people satisfaction. USPU artists’ works are worthy of thanks for constant creative search and muse serving.

Students and teachers of the university come to congratulate painters. Her congratulating speech made Institute of Child Development director, dean of Arts and Pedagogics Department, candidate of historical sciences Olena Dudnyk. Head of Fine Arts Department, assistant professor Olga Muzyka congratulated her students and colleagues too.

Traditional part of the holiday was first year students’ confession into Painters. They have put on little caps of all rainbow colours which symbolizes painter’s palette. In this way was expressed symbolic attraction to the world of beauty.

Nice presents to Artist’s Day were prepared by Arts and Pedagogics Department students. Music present made a student of speciality “Musical Arts” Victoria Galchynska, Choreography and Work of Arts Chair also made a present by national amateur ensemble of national dance “Yavoryna” performance (art director – Sergiy Kutsenko).

Students paticipated in portrait drawing competition; the winner became Oksana Lavrynenko.

We congratulate all the painters on their professional holiday and wish creative success, inspiration, energy in professional activities, new ideas, happiness, health and well-being!
