International fund “Resurrection” together with the platform “Prometheus” and analytical Internet-journal MISTOSITE invite active citizens and students, interested in cities functioning and the possibilities to change Ukrainian cities, to participate in on-line course “Urban studies: contemporary city”. The course tells about Ukrainian and foreign cities, tendencies in investigation and development of the cities. The participants of the on-line course have possibility to get to know:

* evolution cities development and definition of the notion “city”;
* advantages and peculiarities of Western and Soviet cities;
* principles of cities effective management;
* strategies of cities development;
* principles of comfort public space – space of people in the city;
* urban transport as a factor of influence on cities development;
* ways to improve transport system, logistics and mobility in the city;
* rights of citizens and best ways of their use;
* principles of city self-government and ways to attract dwellers to cities improvement.
