Ukrainian song… What can be more beautiful, more melodic than Ukrainian song! Each song has its biography, its fate, like people. A song is a nation’s spirit, its history. And history of our nation is very nice and heroic.

Ukrainian song gathered together a family of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Department to visit traditional event “A song is a nation’s spirit”. The students of each group prepared different items of the programme: songs with dances, jokes, fairy dramatizations.

Ukrainian lyric songs were performed by the following students: Ihor Zelinskiy, Olena Romaniuk, Yulia Orlyck, Yan Bordian.

Ukrainian songs have been transformed into real theatre, played by first and third year students. The artists presented the audience in songs – national fairy tales, Ukrainian wedding, patriotic poems. The students amazed by their dances. Very impressive has performance by a student from Turkmenistan Vepa Dzoraev, who has a very melodic voice.

Acting dean of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Department Tetyana Makhometa thanked the students for their performances and expressed her favour to them. Giving sweet presents, Tetyana Mykolaivna said she was amazed by the youth, studying at the university.
