The History Department of USPU had the II round of all-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Political Science for those students of higher education establishments who do not study Political Science.

The Olympiad was attended by 73 participants - representatives of 39 universities from all regions of Ukraine. The students tested their knowledge and skills in two rounds: theoretical and research. When performing the tasks the participants demonstrated a creative approach, a high level of political and civic culture, profound scientific knowledge about the history and theory of Political Science, and the ability to independently analyze political phenomena and processes.


The first place was won by Mylka Liana from the Glukhov National Pedagogical University named after Dovzhenko.

The Second Degree Diplomas were shared among the following participants: Opatskiy Igor (Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University), Nesterenko Kateryna (Lugansk Taras Shevchenko National University), Stolyar Olga (Zhytomyr State University named after Ivan Franko), Lavrov Ruslan (Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy), Zablotska Yana (National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute").

The following contestants earned the Third Degree Diploma: Novorodovskiy Valeriy (SHEE "Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky GPU Skovoroda") Garashchenko Dina (Crimean University for the Humanities), Anna Marchenko (Sumy State University), Pinchuk Diana (Kremenchug National University of Mikhail Ostrogradskiy), Kremin Maxym (National Academy of Internal Affairs), Hasyak Mariana (Lviv Polytechnic National University).


The competitions were held in a busy but friendly atmosphere. For the unique, brilliant completion of assignments the participants were awarded with the special diplomas of the committee.
