Ukrainian Library Association organized and conducted All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Building up Community Society: Mission of Ukrainian Library Association” (Kyiv), in which participated representatives of our library – deputy head of the library Olena Usatyuk and head of service department Zoya Kravchuk.

Ukrainian Library Association is an independent All-Ukrainian community organization that unites people, connected with librarian profession. In 2015 the association celebrates its jubilee – 20th anniversary. That’s why a report, announced by a president, candidate of pedagogical sciences, assistant professor I. Shevchenko, on amount of carried out work by association impressed everybody. Special attention has been paid to role of the libraries in community, partnership, collaboration, participation of libraries in development of community youth initiatives.
