Search for effective ways of language personality development at different educational institutions is an urgent problem in linguistics. An example of fundamental unity of theoretic and applied investigations in Ukrainian Language Teaching Methodology is annual scientific and methodological seminar, which is organized by the scientific and methodological centre “National linguistic personality development in the framework of continuing education”. Moderator of the meeting was doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Lidiia Mamchur and candidate of pedagogical sciences, assistant professor Iryna Kucherenko.

In the seminar participated preschool educators, teachers of primary schools, teachers-linguists, lecturers of higher educational institutions of Uman, Talne, Khrystynivka, Zhashkiv, Mankivka, Zvenyhorodka, Kamianka districts of Cherkasy region, Pischanka district of Vinnytsia region and HEI lecturers from Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, Ternopil, Kirovohrad regions. The seminar also visited representatives from Russia.

In the seminar’s framework the content and process aspects of language learning were discussed under the condition of concerted system of education – preschool and primary education, basic and high school, higher educatinal institution.

The speeches of doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Lidiia Mamchur,doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Valentyna Koval, candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor Nataliia Syvachuk, candidate of pedagogical sciences, assistant professor Tamara Torchynska include important ways of language education at secondary and high schools.

Inna Novosiolova (preschool educational establishment №18, Uman) paid attention to the process of communicative skills development in children of preschool age by V. O. Sukhomlynskyi’s “Travel to the source of mind”.

An ejoyable was speech by Lyubov Nerubaiska, Honoured Teacher of Ukraine (Talne educational complex “General education school-gymnasium”) in which the teacher- methodologist shared her experience on creative competency development at Ukrainian Language lessons.

During the seminar an interesting master class “Thought and Speech Benevolence as a Foundation for Future” has been conducted by a teacher-methodologist Victoriia Shtanhey (Moshur general education school of I-III stages in Talne district, Cherkasy region).
