On the basis of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University with the assistance of Ukrainian child centre “Young Guards”, Social and Psychological Education Department, Student Council of the University was held second All-Ukrainian scientific and practical seminar “Practical skill of students’ improvement within the limits of work with children at summer health camps.

The work of the event was organized in the following directions: urgent problems of work at summer health camps, educational and health environment of health camps; interactive educational technologies in children health camps: psychological service and psychological accompaniment in children health camps; organization, tasks and forms of work, innovation technologies; work with children in conflict and post-conflict situations; further perspective of HEI and summer health camps collaboration.

In the program of the scientific and practical seminar were round tables, master classes in methods of work at health camps, creative reports of students summing up their work at summer health camps.

Opening the seminar rector, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Oleksandr Besludniy congratulated it’s participants, wished successful work and thanked for fruitful collaboration with the university’s guests – representatives of Ukrainian child centre “Young Guards” and children camp “Artek-Bukovel”.

Responsible for student’s probation period, guide of practices at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Oksana Gnatyuk characterized in details organization and realization of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University students’ probation period.

Dean of Social and Psychological Education Department, candidate of pedagogical sciences, assistant professor at Social Pedagogy and Social Work Chair Oksana Gomenyuk told about peculiarities of social and pedagogical work in terms of improvement of health and taking rest. Deputy director of “Young Guards” Vasyl Bezden analyzed collaboration perspectives of “Young Guards” and Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, methodologist of “Young Guards” Galyna Volcheva characterized a problem “Educational environment of “Young Guards” for students and graduating students, their preparation to use interactive educational technologies”.

Psychologist of child centre Tetyana Nazarenko characterized peculiarities of psychological accompaniment of children in conflict and post-conflict periods.

Special attention of the seminar members was paid to reports by representatives from children camp “Artek-Bukovel”. General director of the camp Yuriy Tabachok was speaking on peculiarities of pedagogical staff preparation in terms of children camp “Artek-Bukovel”; candidate of pedagogical sciences, director in children camp development mentioned project and program approach in organization of children camp educational activities; head of scientific and methodological department Elvina Svitlychna – about provision with organizational and methodological aspects of pedagogical process in terms of contemporary children union.

After this were speaking lecturers of our university. Candidate of pedagogical sciences, senior lecturer at Educational Technologies and Pedagogical Creativity Chair Iryna Reznichenko underlined problems of organization and technologies of conducting games at summer camps. Svitlana Roenko revealed social and educational environment of summer camps. About development of creative potential in children by means of choreography told Lyudmyla Gekalyuk.

The organization committee of the scientific and practical seminar attracted both lecturers and students to event’s organization and conducting. Among them lecturers Svitlana Roenko, Iryna Albul, Maya Perfilieva, Maksym Kylymystyi, head of Student Council Yevgenia Boroday, head of SPED Student Council Maksym Rebro, deputy head of Student Council at cultural and information centre, Anastasia Kurich, forth-year student of SPED Daria Mekhova.

Participators of All-Ukrainian scientific and practical seminar were interested in master classes “Working Methods at Summer Health Camps”.
Everybody was amazed by report of the university students at health camps which was theatre dramatized at the assembly hall.

All the work of All-Ukrainian scientific and practical seminar was organized in order to demonstrate unity of learning process and pedagogical probation periods, which are components of educational and educative process. They help to consolidate theoretical knowledge in educative work methodology.
