Researchers of scientific and research laboratory “Ecology and Education” under the guidance of professor Svitlana Sovhira conducted All-Ukrainian ecology expedition. In the event participated university researchers and lecturers, teachers of educational establishments, ecologists, community organizations, village councils.

The aim of the expedition was to evaluate level of small rivers transformations of Vinnytsia region. The main tasks were to study transformation processes of small rivers, define perspective of its reservation on the basis of complex investigations of bio- and landscape variety.

For the effective work of ecology event the investigated territory was divided into squares. There were descriptive blanks for measurement results. As a result of investigation, instruction of nature “Carp Oak” has been written.

The second stage of the expedition anticipated nature protection action. Chain of sources 32 meters long has been cleaned. In the future 10 small rivers which fall into nameless pond will be cleaned and hydrological reserve will be created.

The conducted action shows our university’s lecturers and workers interest in future of our nature!
