Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University held a traditional ceremony "Freshmen Initiantion into Students". Freshmen were the main people among guests, parents and lecturers and received wise and sincere greetings.

The celebration was attended by the university administration headed by the rector, Professor Oleksandr Bezliudnyi and the distinguished guests: the university graduates, Uman Mayor Oleksandr Tsebriy, and Ph.D. in Economics, People's Deputy of Ukraine Maksym Poliakov. Uman Mayor Oleksandr Tsembriy congratulated students. People's Deputy of Ukraine Maksym Poliakov performed the honorable mission - awarded one-time scholarships to the forth year student of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science Department Yulia Masliuchenko for excellent studying and significant sucсess in student scientific work, the student of the second year of Foreign Languages Department ​​Artur Boyko for excellent studying, a significant scientific potential and active citizenship, student of the forth year of Physical Education Department, the head of USPU student council Yugenia Boroday for excellent academic achievements, significant achievements in scientific work and sports, active participation in the public life of the university.

Sincere words of greetings in Polish have been sounded from the head of the State Higher School of Vocational Education named after Jan Amos Komensky in Leszno - Rector, Professor, Doctor of Sciences Maciej Petshak.

On behalf of the students, the freshmen were greeted by the Head of the Student Council of the University Yugenia Boroday, who stressed that it is new wonderful page in their life, and everything depends on how bright it might be. "Student years pass very quickly, and we are proud to declare that our students have great opportunity to reveal themselves, learn something new, to conquer the unknown. University you have chosen to study, is considered one of the best in Ukraine".

The university Rector Oleksandr Bezliudnyi and People's Deputy of Ukraine Maksym Poliakov deputy Ukraine Maxim Polyakov gave the simbolic attributes (student card and key to the door of the temple of science) to the freshman - student of Social and Psychological Education Department Diana Bondar and student of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science Department Sergiy Zabiyaka.

On behalf of the freshmen, the first year student of the Institute of Economics and Business Education Leonila Kravets uttered an oath of loyalty to Alma Mater with a promise to maintain and increase its glory, held high rank of student with honors.

A pleasant surprise for the first-year students was a gift from the university - choreographic composition "The Four Seasons" performed by the laureate of the International competitions, modern dance ensemble "Vizavi" and the song "Let Ukraine blossoms" performed by Anastasia Shynkaruk and folk dance ensemble "Vizavi".

The freshmen gratefully accepted the words never to stop halfway, always be persistent and confident in their abilities, firmly step in the way of knowledge, because it is interesting and truly endless!
