A great success had choreography groups of Department of Arts “Vizavi” and “Yavoryna”, that represented Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University at III All-Ukrainian festival of Choreography “Planeta Dance Fest”. The festival took place an old city of Chernihiv (director of the festival – head of Chernihiv Choreography Union Nataliya Kholchenkova.

This year in the festival participated 75 choreography groups of Ukraine and Byelorussia. It was held at T. Shevchenko Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre, situated in the centre of Chernihiv.

In the nomination “National Dance”, age category – adults (formation – team competitions among ensembles) good results demonstrated national amateur ensemble of national dance “Yavoryna” (artistic director – Serhiy Kutsenko). They performed Moldavian national dance “Spring khora” had won a golden prize and diploma of I grade. For the “Best festival’s number, “High level of skills” the group received diplomas. For the performance of Turkish national dance “Khalai” the group became a second time golden prize-winner.

In the nomination “Variety Choreography” among adults (formation) a great success have had a national amateur ensemble of contemporary dance “Vizavi” (artistic director – Lyudmyla Andrischuk). For choreography composition “Dream’s birth” the students received a golden prize and diploma of I grade under nominations “Best festival’s number”, “Originality of choreography staging problems”.

For the composition “Such as you” the group became a golden prize winner of the festival and received diploma of II grade in the nomination “aduts, small group).

In the same category, in the nomination “Duet” diploma of II grade received a 4th-year student Oleksandr Pischanyi with performance of “This is not love”.

For choreography composition “Toreador’s cloak” “Vizavi” has won silver prize and diploma of I grade; for choreography composition “The best ballet master’s work” - received a diploma.

It is worth mentioning that the preceding rewards were not ended. For their hard work, students’ upbringing, contribution into choreography development in Ukraine and active participation in III All-Ukrainian festival of Choreography “Planeta Dance Fest” directors of the groups Lyudmyla Androschuk and Serhiy Kutsenko were rewarded by diplomas from head of culture administration department of Chernihiv city council Yuriy Tkach and head of Chernihiv Choreography Union Nataliya Kholchenkova.

Members of the choreography groups and their directors received a special reward of the festival “PLANETA DANCE FEST” and diploma “Mega dance star”.

All the members of choreography groups, their directors are grateful to those who organized the event. It was held under support of dean of Department of Arts, Honoured Culture worker of Ukraine, assistant professor Leonid Yatlo, head of trade union committee, assistant professor Oleksandr Osadchyi.
