Recently, at the university took place scientific and methodical seminar “Literature and language teacher is an innovator of methodical ideas”, which was organized by Scientific and Methodical Centre “National and linguistic personality development in terms of continuing education”. In the event participated lecturers, teachers, master students, Ukrainian Philology Department students; they discussed some aspects of the mentioned before problem.
The welcoming speech made the centre director, professor Lidiya Mamchur and dean of Ukrainian Philology Department, professor Valentyna Koval. The importance of linguistic and literature subjects study and professional practices in training of future literature and language teachers underlined in her speech Lyubov Parheta, deputy dean in pedagogical practice.
In the framework of the seminar there took place the presentation of the Ukrainian language and literature teacher at Uman city high school, university graduate Valentyna Ostrovska, who is winner of city stage competition “2015 teacher of the year”.
During her presentation Valentyna Ivanivna defined the main problems in her work and determined innovation technologies used in her pedagogical work. She preferred modern approaches to students’ problem solving, knowledge application, autonomous education level increase.
During the master class “Innovative technologies using at the Ukrainian language and literature lessons Valentyna Ivanivna introduced such technologies as “Web quest” and “My test” and the other kinds of work with interactive blackboard.
About the main professional skills of a teacher of linguistics told a teacher of high level category at V.M. Molokanov Uman city high school.
The scientific and methodical seminar work proceeded to the dialogue between students and teachers, the experienced pedagogues shared their experience on pedagogical situations problem solving.
In the end of the seminar lecturers and students thanked the invited teachers, in paticular V. Ostrovska for the pleasant meeting and the opportunity to get some knowledge an practical experience.
