On February, 10 ,1992 an order № 13 signed by the rector of university about creation the research laboratory "ECOLOGY and EDUCATION", which has an anniversary in 2012.

Exactly this occasion was celebrated the by all of unindifferent to the decision problems of co-operation of man and nature teachers, graduate students, post-graduate students during reports at the round table "Scientific principles of ecological education and nature protection activity".

In-process of round table Ph. D. (Geography), professor of Chair of Geoecology and methods of study of ecological disciplines Liubomyr P. Tsaryk, who shared with the problems of preparation of environmentalists, forms and methods of work with the gifted student's and youth, which are carried out the research workers of the Ternopil University.

During reports were raised problems of: forming naturally scientific picture of the world and ecological world view, as its reflection for future teachers, preparation of future teachers to nature protection work and forming healthy way of life for students, development nature protection measures, especially ecological paths in general educational establishments and others.

Round table work was completed with an exchange of scientific, educational and methodical literature and signing the agreement about a collaboration between the faculties of the Ternopil and Uman Universities.
