In the framework of collaboration with Ukrainian Children Centre “Young Guards” at our univesity was held student’s competitive selection for studying at Guards’ school of pedagogues and organizers.
The Children Centre “Young Guards” for several decades admits children all over Ukraine, full of energy, positive and creative young people – students of higher pedagogical institutions who want to try themselves in the role of pedagogues and organizers. They study at school of pedagogues and organizers, attend lectures, master classes, training lessons, various events, etc. The school’s activity is directed towards theoretical and practical training of young specialists who are prepared to work at children health camp.
A lot of students from different departments had a desire to participate in the competition and become a student of the school of pedagogues and organizers.
In the beginning of the meeting with students representatives of “Young Guards” made a presentation of the children’s centre work, told about its history, structure, traditions and present.
The competitive selection to the school of pioneer leaders was held by deputy director V. M. Bezden, methodologists of scientific and methodological department G. A. Volcheva, Yu. V. Kozak, S. P. Nazarenko and director of film and concert complex Yu. I. Stashenko.
The representatives of the Children Centre “Young Guards” were selecting students who tried their best to do different tasks, solve pedagogical situations, and think creatively. The youth demonstrated their knowledge of forms and methods of educational work, establish good relations with children and their parents, organize creative activity, be able to learn and develop quickly.
The results of the selection are successful for our students: the team of “Young Guards” selected 15 best future pedagogues and organizers. They study at Physics and Mathematics Department, History Department, Arts and Pedagogics Department, Department of Economics, Social and Psychological Education Department, Foreign Languages Department.
After graduating from school of pedagogues and organizers the students will have an opportunity to have their probation period and be appointed at the centre’s camps. We wish them interesting studies and unforgettable summer probation period at the Black Sea coast.
