On February 19-25, 2023, the International Interdisciplinary School "Cross disciplines: How to study in an Interdisciplinary framework" was held in the Dembin palace complex.

The school, organized by the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań for Ukrainian universities, was attended by students, postgraduates and teachers from Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, National Technical University "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky", Volyn National University named after Lesya Ukrainka (Lutsk ), Grigory Skovoroda University in Pereyaslav, Donbas State Pedagogical University (Slovyansk), V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University and Kherson State University.

The school program was extremely interesting and rich. This is the opening of the school, at which speeches were made by Ioanna Barshch, director of the International Cooperation Development Center of Adam Mickiewicz University, Rafal Dymczyk, school coordinator and professor of Adam Mickiewicz University, Dr. Kostyantyn Mazur, coordinator of the schools that will be held this year.

The unique atmosphere of the school was created by excellent lecturers: Dr. Kostyantyn Mazur, Professors Yakub Rybka, Lukash Ruzhitskyi, Ihor Kryvosheya, Alexander Mikolajchak, Rafal Dymczyk, Konrad Dominas.

The participants of the International Interdisciplinary School also had a rich cultural and leisure program: an evening of tasting Ukrainian dishes, performing Ukrainian songs, and an integration meeting by the fire.

Friday, February 24, 2023 was filled with various impressions: the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, which opened at Adam Mickiewicz University; meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology, Prof. Tomas Mizerkevych; excursion to Poznań.

Before returning to Ukraine, the vice-rector for international cooperation of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Dr. Rafal Vitkovskyi, who spoke very emotionally about the war, remembered his friend who died at the front, with tears in his eyes.

School participants received certificates.
