At the expense of the university, a large number of new furniture was purchased for improving the lives of students. The univeristy had bought cabinets, curbstones, shelves, tables, chairs, beds and mattresses for students.

In general, the university rector Oleksandr Bezliudnyi had done a lot for the university dormitories to make it more comfortable for studying and resting of students, to occupy their favorite affairs (sports, artistic amateur activities, creative hobbies) and comfortable living. A new heating pipeline had been made for both dormitories. Capital repairs of the dormitory's facade are planned.

It should be noted that boys and girls who had settled in the dormitory have been trained in fire safety technology, the operation of household appliances, household radio equipment and gas equipment, as well as the use of elevators. All of them were obliged to study the rules of the internal order and strictly adhere to it.
